She founded the travel media company Dream of Italy in 2002. McCabe began her career in journalism at ABC News where she was part of an Emmy Award-winning investigative team. She transitioned from covering hard news and politics to writing about travel while working at USA TODAY. McCabe graduated from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service with a concentration in European Studies and proficiency in the French language. Her only regret is not also taking Italian! \nAbout Dream of Italy\nFor 18 years\, Dream of Italy has been bringing travelers informative\, authentic travel advice that can’t be found anywhere else.
