The baking will be led by Mary Giuliani (C‘97)\, NYC Caterer to The Stars\, and the reading will be led by Chudney Ross (C’97)\, writer\, teacher\, and entrepreneur. \n  \n\n  \nHost bios\n \nParty and lifestyle expert Mary Giuliani (C‘97) is founder and CEO of Mary Giuliani Catering and Events. She has appeared on Billions\, The Barefoot Contessa\, The Today Show\, Good Morning America\, and is a regularly featured guest on The Rachael Ray Show. Giuliani’s first book\, The Cocktail Party (Eat\, Drink\, Play\, Recover) was released in 2015 and her subsequent book\, Tiny Hot Dogs: A Memoir in Small Bites is a current bestseller. A graduate of Georgetown University\, she resides in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood and Woodstock\, New York with her husband\, Ryan\, and daughter Gala. \n \nChudney Ross (C’97) is a writer\, teacher\, entrepreneur\, and most importantly\, a mom. She is the founder of Books and Cookies LA\, a mobile literacy enrichment program focused on rethinking the way that we share books\, bring stories to life\, and build community around literacy. Her love of books also led her to write a middle grade children’s book called Lone Bean\, which was published by HarperCollins in 2012. Additionally\, she’s the Chief Kid Officer at The Jane Club where she has created a space for children to learn\, play\, and grow alongside their working mothers. Her seven-year-old daughter Callaway loves to learn\, play\, read… and eat cookies\, too. Her eight-month-old Everlee is a book lover\, too! \nAbout Georgetown Summer Sessions\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for our new virtual experiences program\, Summer Sessions! Summer Sessions showcase Hoya alumni chefs\, artists\, entertainers\, athletes\, florists\, entrepreneurs\, and more\, all through curated\, live Zoom sessions. \nEach Summer Session host is sharing a talent while bringing together our Hoya community to support the university. Your participation in these experiences provide you with a light and lively activity during the summer and\, through the suggested donation\, directly and immediately strengthen your alma mater. \nDonations received as part of Summer Sessions will support the 90 Days with Georgetown initiative and Georgetown’s two crucial priorities: the university’s COVID-19 response and student financial aid. \nStay tuned\, new experiences will be added weekly!
